Handwara: A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces at Ganipora area of Kralgund in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district this evening.
The encounter followed searches by the forces following inputs about the presence of militants in the area, officials said.
J&K Police also tweeted about the gunfight.(KNO)
